Blizzard!

Days after going to the zoo, wearing a skirt and short sleeves, we are in a blizzard. An official blizzard! The snow started last night and by 3am everything was pretty well coated. Now this afternoon you can barely see some cars or our front porch...so we are stuck inside, trying to entertain ourselves. Josh took Noah outside to see the snow for only a second, it's too cold at this point to even play in it.

We brought some of the snow in just to let Noah play with it a bit, he found it pretty entertaining!

Looks like we will be hanging around the house the next few days...

Blizzard appropriate manicure...white is really hard to do, this is the first time I've gotten it right, which is why I felt it deserved a picture
Nap time!

Zoo Day in January!

This past Saturday the temperatures got all the way up to mid 70's! The days before and after had been near freezing, so that was a welcome relief! We took the opportunity to get one more Zoo day out of our year pass. The weather was sunny and unbelievable, I think Noah even got a little pink nose by the end of the day, but we all appreciated the vitamin D!

Look at that smirk on his face!
I don't think I've ever seen a little boy this cute in my life ;) !

The Schlupe's met us there and Noah tried his best to keep up with his buddy River. He is only 5 months older, but so much bigger! Noah just happens to be on the petite side like his dad, and River is a miniature football player!

I guess little boys are just born knowing how to make car noises, as soon as you set him on anything like this, or even in the shopping cart, he starts saying "vroooom"! I just wonder where they pick that up!

It is so fascinating to watch Noah at this age, he has his own little personality already. It's just as much fun to watch him interact with other kids and his little friends. This day, he experienced having a stick taken right out of his hand by any older kid, Josh's first instinct was to knock the kid over and take it back...but you know, you don't! Poor Noah was just in shock.

Noah is an observer, I think he gets that from me. He almost prefers to sit and study the other kids than really interact with them. River on the other hand was all in it! He was ready to tumble with anyone in his path, I think they may balance each other out as friends!

This is Noah thinking that he is blowing bubbles..he figured out the dip part, and the holding it in the air part, and even the blowing part! He would hold it up in the air and then blow

Noah also picked out a new book during a trip to Borders, this thing is like 18" x 18", it's so huge he cant pick it up, but he just loves the kitty on the front

Last but not least, I finally have a picture of our baby girl! This is the best shot we have so far, this one is actually from the day we found out it was a girl!
