Time keeps on slipping...
It's been months, I know. I try not to be too hard on myself when I don't stick to my projects the way I would like to (like this giant scrapbook). All it really means is here comes a ton of pictures with brief descriptions...ready...set...go...
Noah recently turned 2, which seems impossible, and that also means that Willow is already 6 months old, half of her first year is over and I can't seem to soak it up enough. Her health has been perfect, and that is the biggest relief of all after the scare she gave us as a newborn.
We were feeling very brave, and the weather was just begging us...so we decided to embark on our very first camping trip! It was last minute, and only a 2 night stay..but those 2 nights were spent in a tent. The first night we had an incredible thunder storm, I lost sleep worrying about leaks...but we got through it dry! All in all, it was a success and we are looking forward to making it a October family tradition! Of course our good friends the Schlupe's were there, and we are hoping to expand the circle in years to come.

Schlupe's & Schwing's
More recently, we had a warm enough day to enjoy some zoo time. It was cool enough to be almost completely empty...but warm enough to stroll. Every single animal was out soaking up the last rays of the sun:

Park
We spend a lot of time at the park now that the weather is cool, Noah loves to feed the geese, he is afraid of everything it seems...except squawking, flapping geese.
Noah's favorite thing to do right now, color!
Willow's first zoo trip! She slept the entire time...
Breakfast at Tally's on our anniversary (September 9th 2011)
Noah and his friend River...look how big they are now!
Wearing daddy's hoodie...

It's been awhile...
What has happened lately...our 5th anniversary for one! I can not beleive it has been five years already, and I think back to our plan to have kids at the five year mark...I guess I was impatient!
Josh bought me the coolest necklace in the shape of a heart that has "Noah" and "Willow" stamped inside, it's perfect and I love it! Here's a picture:
This month also happens to be my parents 30th anniversary, so I got my mom a necklace with all the kids names and my dad a keychain with the grandkids names :
Noah also got a new toy car, baseball bat & glove, and Willow got a big pink stuffed toy...which Noah loves and now sleeps with!
