It's a strange thing when the name is finalized, we were both hesitant to ever say it aloud all together. It feels like once you release it...it exist and can not be taken back. So after a lot of thought, and quiet contemplation, here it is, officially:
Willow Heart Schwing.
She now exist, with a name and all.
Naming your baby can be such a strange thing, but in my experience the names really just came to me, and that was that. It always felt like they picked it themselves and it just took us a minute to guess what it was. Wow...when did I become such a touchy-feely hippie type? Motherhood does that to you I suppose. Haha
I haven't written much lately, because there hasn't been much going on. I am reaching the final stretch of pregnancy and my goals right now include doing as little as possible. That includes limiting everything from writing, baking, cooking...even texting! I'm hyper focused on labor now..and hope to write an entirely way too long post about that soon too...but I digress.
Here are a few pictures of the most special little man in my life, he seems to be growing an inch a day and I have made a hard rule of not missing a second of it for anything.
I really don't like to break rules...;)
Since the last post, we have had SOME
lovely weather. Days like that we make
sure to spend most of it outdoors. It is amazing how the backyard, with all its leafy wonders can entertain boys (and men really) for hours on end.
Noah has endless fun exploring everything there is to be seen, and he even manages to work up a very stinky little boy sweat while he's at it. It's glorious.
On one very warm day, Noah got to start his very own vegetable garden...he even has an assistant (Daddy) to help him tend to it!
We gave him the water hose to see how he would handle it, now it was super hot out, but apparently not hot enough to not squeal every time the freezing cold water got near...sensitive parts!
All within the same few weeks, we had very unpredictable weather. So here is a picture of us attempting our first archeological dig at the zoo..Noah did find some awesome stuff, but it was so cold we couldn't stay long!
