Jonah

Another baby boy! This little one is the product of a few of our very best friends, Jordan & Amy.

This is Amy's third boy, and she had a great labor! For the first time, she was able to go all the way to term, and go into labor on her own! She was so excited about that. On the morning of August 2nd, she checked into the hospital after what felt like weeks of start & stop labor. This time there was no going home! She was already about 4 centimeters when she checked in, and spent the next few hours handling her contractions beautifully. She couldn't believe how much different natural contractions were compared to being induced, so far things could not being going better! At around 6 centimeters it was time for a little relief and she had her epidural. Things seemed to slow a bit, so after a little more time she decided to take pitocin to move things along. Sure enough within about one hour she was ready to start pushing!

After about 10 minutes or so, he was here!

Jonah was born on August 2nd, 1:54pm. He was an amazing 7lbs 7oz and 19 1/2 inches. The biggest of all the babies!

Not only that, he had a full head of black hair and dark skin, looks like Jonah took after his mommy!
